This year we celebrate our 25th anniversary of activity.
Over the last quarter of a century, the brand has established itself as an important Made in Italy textile company, supplying high quality fabrics to customers all over the world.
The president, Paola Bertoldo, expressed her satisfaction with the achievement of this milestone: "Our 25th anniversary is a testament to our commitment. We are excited about future opportunities and are grateful for the support of our customers, employees and partners. We are happy because we believe in beauty and Italian know-how and having reached 25 years of business is a further incentive to continue to provide our customers with high quality fabrics and exceptional service for many years to come."
Since our foundation in 1998, we have selected the best fibers of natural origin such as silk, cotton, linen and wool, from which refined velvets and jacquard fabrics have been produced, entirely designed and made in Italy. One of our founding objectives has always been to be a company devoted to sustainability in terms of process, product and human capital management. Over time, all the objectives have been maintained and developed by building an entire internal production chain, creating superior quality and long-lasting products, far from the idea of "fast use", enhancing the technical skills of the employees.
Together with other companies in the textile supply chain, l’Opificio has joined Slow Food in the creation of Slow Fiber, with the aim of representing positive change in the world of textile production.
The brand's philosophy is characterized by impeccable made in Italy quality and a refined and eclectic style, with great chromatic richness, with a subtle but disruptive use of colour. l'Opificio fabrics are characterized by seductive colours, unique decorations and precious yarns, worked to offer multiple solutions dedicated to the world of living. By drawing, designing and producing our fabrics, we guarantee total control of the production chain.
Over the years, Barbara Bertoldo's Art Direction has been joined by a series of collaborations with designers and creatives, such as Serena Confalonieri, Lanzavecchia+Wai, Elisa Seitzinger and Bruno Tarsia.
The celebrations for the 25th anniversary, which began with a first event in Turin, represent the ideal moment to welcome our public to the Turin showroom, a historic site, renovated according to the concept of architect Bruno Tarsia. The new layout, playing with geometries, creates mini-architectures that guide the visitor to discover the spaces, between vibrant colors and kaleidoscopic patterns in a setting that frames fabrics and accessories signed by l'Opificio.
The space is configured as a place halfway between a showroom and an atelier, where it is possible to buy ready-to-buy products, experiment with mixing different fabrics and colors and let yourself be guided by tailor-made consultancy for interior design. Alongside the catalogue of fabrics in the showroom, we offer a collection of accessories for Home Haute Couture furnishings, such as poufs, and elements designed to embellish beds and sofas thanks to over 200 models of cushions and 30 quilts and the infinite possibility of customization.
Thank you all for your support during these 25 years.
We are grateful and excited to celebrate this milestone with you.
